Job Details Job Location: CLEARWATER, FL 33762 Salary Range: $17.00 - $20.00 Hourly **Air Conditioned Warehouse!** 1st Shift - Monday-Thursday - 6:30am-5:00pm Position Summary Responsible for learning and performing the set ups and running of all Saw Machines. Responsibilities • Set up and run the vertical and horizontal Automatic Saw • Making sure the machine is set up properly, monitoring it during the process and documenting results • Perform basic math functions such as addition and subtraction • Works under immediate supervision and is not typically required to exercise independent judgment, but at times will be necessary • Safety and security: is able to observe safety and security procedures pertaining to plant maintenance/repair and use equipment properly • Keep work area organized to maintain a clean and safe work environment • Performs all other duties as directed by Management • Operate forklift to pull material from racks safely Qualifications Competencies & Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent • A minimum of 2 years of strong mechanical experience • Computer literate with the ability to learn CNC Machining • Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn and seek out new skills • Ability to read material prints and BOMs • Knowledge of air tools, power tools, grinders, and hand tools • General knowledge of shop machines and precision measuring tools (calipers, mics, tape measure) • Ability to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job • Ability to inspect equipment, structures or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects • Self-motivated, able to work independently and within tight deadlines • Extremely organized, acute attention to detail, and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness • Ability to safely operate (or learn to operate) a forklift, pallet jack and/or overhead crane while moving materials around the shop

Responsibilities

The Saw Operator is responsible for setting up and running vertical and horizontal automatic saws, ensuring proper machine setup, monitoring processes, and documenting results. Additional duties include maintaining a clean work area and operating a forklift to pull materials safely.
