Description Houghton Lake, MI - Full-Time - Mon–Fri, 6:00 am–2:30 pm - Fabrication Department Forklift - Blueprint Reading - Metal Fabrication - Power Saws Starting Pay $19 - $20/per hour About the role Set up and operate power saws to cut metallic and non-metallic materials at our Houghton Lake facility. You'll read blueprints, verify measurements, operate a forklift, and help keep the shop running smoothly. What you'll do Operate power saws; adjust speed, feed rate, and blade tension Read blueprints and verify finished dimensions with measuring tools Operate forklift; load, unload, and handle materials Measure, cut, and install rubber boards in aluminum beds Keep saw and storage areas clean and organized Requirements Pre-employment requirements Must be able to pass a criminal background check Pre-employment drug screening required, including marijuana What we're looking for Experience reading blueprints, templates, and measuring devices Certified or able to become certified on forklift operation Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced shop Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on/under heavy-duty trucks Facial hair must comply with CDC/NIOSH guidelines for filtering facepiece respirators
