Join our TEAM - Together Everyone Achieves More Job Title: SBA Operations Officer I Department: SBA Loan Center 1 (HQ Office) We are looking for SBA Operations Officer to join the SBA Loan Center 1 team at Open Bank! The SBA Operations Officer will be responsible for providing on-going support to the SBA Loan Center team in processing and servicing SBA loans. Key Responsibilities: * Prepare and review SBA loan applications and packaging forms. * Work independently with third party vendors such as title companies, escrow companies, and attorneys. * Assist in reviewing loan files for conditions of approval and follow through to obtain proper and complete documentation. * Assist in reviewing preliminary title reports for acceptable exceptions and request payoff- demands. * Assist in reviewing all collateral documents along with any underwriting conditions submitted in the loan package to verify completeness and accuracy in accordance with all policies and procedure requirements. * Assist in the preparation, review, and processing of PLP loan application for SBA approval. * Help manage and maintain the loan portfolio via the Bank’s tickler tracking system to ensure proper recorded documentation, insurance, UCC filings, and covenant and compliance with financial and tax returns. Requirements/Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field or equivalent experience required. * Minimum one year of experience in banking and/or lending required. * General knowledge of lending regulations, lien laws, and loan documentation. * Good written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person, and over the phone. * Accurate typing/keyboarding skills; basic computer skills, including the use of word processing, spreadsheet software applications, and e-mail. * Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or customer complaints. * Present a professional image in dealing with customers, interdepartmental, and external representatives. ---------------------------------------- Employee Benefits & Perks * Medical, Dental, & Vision: Open Bank offers medical, dental, and vision insurance for all full-time employees and their immediate family members.
