We are a leading global food company, and the custodian of a host of iconic Kiwi brands like Meadow Fresh, Puhoi Valley, Molenberg, Natures Fresh and Freya’s that generations of New Zealand have grown up with and put in their supermarket trolleys every week.
We might be biased but we believe our team here at Goodman Fielder is an amazing place to work, and a great team to be part of! We’re driven by our values - We Grow Together, We Keep Things Simple, We Get Stuff Done.

OUR OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Graduate Project Engineer to support the development and delivery of Goodman Fielder’s `Science-Based Target Initiatives (SBTi) Programme’ across New Zealand. The SBTi programme is critical to our commitment to decarbonization of all global operations by 2050 including a 56% reduction in Carbon by 2032.
You will support the development of a feasible long-term plan to deliver the Zero Carbon 2050 goal for the business.

ABOUT YOU

To ensure that we deliver against our sustainability targets we are looking for a recent Engineering graduate who is passionate about the need for industrial decarbonization.

Other experience and qualifications we are looking for include:

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Process, Environmental or closely related)
  • Growth mindset with the ability to see possibilities, embrace challenges and persistence to drive change
  • Advanced MS Excel ability with the ability to manipulate large data sets
  • Any Project Management (including SAP) experience would be beneficial

You will be joining a driven team of professionals who genuinely enjoy working together resulting in a highly collaborative and flexible work environment making some of New Zealand’s most loved baked brands. In return for your passion and success, we will reward you with a competitive remuneration package and help you to achieve personal and professional growth and development.
