Description
SAIC is seeking a Engineering Tech IV at Crane, IN. JOB DESCRIPTION * Perform CCA (Circuit Card Assembly) testing and repair on RFBU (Radio Frequency Blanking Unit) CCAs.  * Perform Miniature/Microminiature Electronics Repair (2M) supporting testing and repair of Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA) and Electronic Modules (EM). * Review documentations, standard operating procedures, and drawings to determine component root cause analysis troubleshooting.  * Fluent with Windows operating systems and how to navigate them and standard applications within. Collaborate and fluently communicate with management, leads, QA, engineering, logisticians, and other technicians as needed to fulfill the test and repair operations. * Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions. * Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions. Collects, maintains, organizes, compiles, and manipulates technical data. * Supports engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication and assembly of electro mechanical systems.   * Conduct or monitor system, subsystem, equipment or component testing * Analyze test results/determine valid recommendations and conclusions based on test data. * Assist in design modification by compiling data related to design, specifications, and materials that are pertinent to specific items of equipment or component parts; develop information concerning previous operational failures and modifications and use judgment and initiative to recognize inconsistencies or gaps in data and seek sources to clarify information.
