OVERVIEW:

Dillon Engineering Services is seeking an experienced SCADA/ITS Specialist. This is a long-term on-site role in Dublin, focusing on the design, implementation, and integration of critical SCADA and Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) for tunnel operations.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 10 years’ experience in ITS or SCADA systems within infrastructure or transportation projects.
• Level 8 qualification (National Framework of Qualifications/QQI or equivalent) in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer status (desirable).
• Strong background in SCADA system integration, testing, and implementation.
• Experience in working with contractors and multidisciplinary teams on large-scale infrastructure projects.

• Oversee the conceptual design and task order development for the SCADA/ITS upgrade.
• Engage with the Contractor to assess and review proposals for system implementation and integration.
• Manage factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site acceptance testing (SAT) to ensure system functionality and compliance.
• Provide on-site supervision throughout the implementation phase.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure seamless system integration and successful delivery.
