POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced SCADA Engineer to support the QUN SCADA Upgrade Project. This role involves the design, configuration, and validation of SCADA systems, ensuring they meet all operational, security, and data integrity requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SCADA platforms, system architecture, and validation processes within industrial automation environments.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • Proven experience in SCADA system design, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of automation, process control, and industrial system integration.
  • Hands-on experience with server setup, configuration, and cybersecurity compliance.
  • Familiarity with Data Integrity (DI) requirements and validation in regulated industries.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally with operations and engineering teams.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with SCADA platforms such as Wonderware, Ignition, GE iFIX, or Siemens WinCC.
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC, Ethernet/IP).
  • Prior experience in system validation and qualification within GMP or regulated environments.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop intuitive and functional SCADA screens for operational use.
  • Configure new SCADA servers to meet necessary cybersecurity and performance requirements.
  • Develop, update, and maintain technical specifications for SCADA systems.
  • Support the revision and creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Conduct Data Integrity (DI) assessments to ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in design reviews with operations and engineering teams to ensure the system is “right first time.”
  • Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and suite testing.
  • Lead or assist in SCADA system validation and qualification activities.
