Role Overview Surbana Jurong is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from qualified professionals for the position of SCADA Specialist for a proposed assignment in Uzbekistan. The role will support the design, implementation, and operation of SCADA and automation systems for water infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and support SCADA systems for water and irrigation infrastructure projects. Oversee installation and operation of remote monitoring and control systems. Develop and configure PLC programming and automation systems. Ensure integration of communication protocols such as MODBUS and DNP3. Support HMI/SCADA software configuration and system optimization. Coordinate with engineering teams on automation and control system requirements. Provide technical support for system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Minimum 10 years of professional experience in SCADA system design, installation, and operation. Strong expertise in Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and industrial automation systems. Experience with PLC programming, MODBUS, DNP3, and HMI/SCADA software. Experience on World Bank or similar MDB-funded projects is an advantage. Familiarity with water management automation technologies. Excellent English communication and reporting skills.
