A Scaffold Builder is responsible for building, demoing, staging and modifying components of scaffolding. Skills needed for the position: Constructing and dismantling scaffolds: Scaffold builders assemble and dismantle tubular scaffolds to allow workers to access areas of a structure for construction or restoration work. Maintaining a safe work environment: Scaffold builders keep work areas and equipment clean and safe, and recognize and mitigate hazards. They also prepare Job Safety Analysis (JSA) paperwork to describe the job and identify safety hazards. Coordinating with other contractors: Scaffold builders plan and coordinate with other contractors. Heavy lifting: Scaffold builders may need to lift heavy materials. Using hand tools: Scaffold builders use hand tools such as grinders, sandblasters, and spray rigs. Working in teams: Scaffold builders work effectively in teams. Location: 3413 Charleigh D Ford Jr Dr Columbus, MS 39701 Independent Contractor Status: Contractor is an independent contractor and not an employee of Company. Contractor is not entitled to any employee benefits, including but not limited to health insurance, retirement benefits, or paid time off. Tools: Each worker must bring their own toolbox and personal tools: List will be provided post-offer letter. Dress Code: Workers should always present themselves in a clean and professional manner.
