The successful Scaffolding Design Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Designing specialist scaffolding and shoring systems for advanced temporary works projects across the UK.
  • Supporting tender proposals, contributing to product development, and delivering design solutions in line with Eurocodes and NASC guidance.
  • Collaborating with project engineers, site teams, and international technical offices to resolve engineering and safety-critical challenges.
  • Visiting project sites occasionally to oversee implementation and ensure engineering integrity.
  • Using structural analysis tools such as RSTAB, AutoCAD and design programs to produce accurate, optimised technical drawings.
  • Supporting the national engineering team on special solution projects and mentoring junior engineers.
  • Maintaining a focus on health and safety, programme schedules, and technical excellence throughout the design process.
