As a Scaffolder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our construction projects by erecting and dismantling scaffolding structures. Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding structures according to project specifications and safety standards Inspect scaffolding components for defects or damage before use Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine scaffolding requirements Ensure proper installation of safety features such as guardrails, toe boards, and access ladders Collaborate with other construction team members to coordinate scaffolding needs Maintain a clean and organized work area, properly storing scaffolding equipment when not in use Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Perform regular safety checks and report any potential hazards or issues to supervisors Assist in the training and mentoring of junior scaffolders Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in scaffolding assembly and disassembly in the Bridge Construction Industry Valid scaffolding certification High school diploma or equivalent Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in the construction industry Physical strength and stamina to handle the demands of the job Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a team environment Good problem-solving skills to address on-site challenges Willingness and ability to work in hot climate conditions Basic understanding of construction industry practices and terminology
