Scale Calibration Technician Grand Rapids, MI Full Time | $24/hour and up   Join a West Michigan Best and Brightest Company as a Scale Calibration Technician servicing our Michigan customer's measurement needs!  This autonomous role will utilize their technical and mechanical expertise to deliver and maintain critical measurement solutions to our industrial customers.   Essential Functions:     * Perform installations, preventative maintenance & calibration, troubleshooting & repair on customer equipment in manufacturing, automotive, and other industries * Configure electronic measurement equipment to customer specifications * Act as the "subject-matter-expert" through customer interactions by way of equipment updates, equipment enhancements, and operator training * Document test and calibration data within GRM's proprietary calibration software system * Uses hand and power tools to carry out routine tasks and apply established equipment procedures * Travel daily to customer sites across the state using a including on-call & (5%) overnight stays   Minimum Requirements: * High School Diploma or GED required * Mechanical, electrical and/ or technical experience in industrial environment required * Strong communicator with internal and external customers * Ability to adhere to company driving standards, such as annual MVR requirements * Able to lift and carry 50lb weights, repetitively * Able to stand for extended periods of time   Benefits: * DAY ONE, Benefits - Medical with company contribution, Dental, Vision and more * 401(k) Plan with strong company match * Company provided tools, apparel, and work vehicle * Development and training for those "lifelong learners" with a hunger for growth in a niche industry   Equal Opportunity: Grand Rapids Metrology is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or other protected classes.
