Core Environmental & Recycling is seeking a candidate for our scale-house operations.

Shift: 9:00pm-3:00am (40-46 hours per week)
Location: 4810 68 Ave Edmonton AB T6B 2Y1

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Weighing trucks, and trailers in and out over the scale
• Entering appropriate data into computer (product, weight, customer name, etc)
• Interfacing with customer haulers, internal operations, and 3rd party drivers.
• Operate the weigh-station scale
• Entering appropriate data into a computer
• Assist with ensuring safe and efficient operation of the scales.
• Communicate with drivers, to determine the type of material being dumped
• Process cash, debit, visa payments from customers

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

• Good data entry skills, attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Maintain productivity and accuracy during high traffic conditions
• Position may be required overtime work, and on-call depending on business need
• Previous Scalehouse experience would be an asset, but not required
• Observe and adhere to the health and safety regulations set by the employer
• Ability to work in a team
• Maintain Cleanliness of Scalehouse and Scale
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
• Use of telephone, computers, and various other office equipment is essential
