DESCRIPTION

CORE Recycling has an immediate opening for a Scalehouse operator, full-time at our Edmonton Recycling facilities, valid driver’s license is required.
Your job duties will include weighing trucks, and trailers IN and OUT over the scale; entering appropriate data into computer (product, weight, customer name, etc.); interfacing with customer haulers, internal operations, and 3rd party drivers.
Pay: Starting from $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Facility Hours: 6:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday
9:00 am to 3:00 pm, Saturday
Closed, Sunday

REQUIREMENTS:

· Good data entry skills, attention to detail
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel
· Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Maintain productivity and accuracy during high traffic conditions
· Position may be required overtime work, and on-call depending on business need
· Previous Scalehouse experience would be an asset, but not required
· Observe and adhere to the health and safety regulations set by the employer
· Ability to work in a team
· Maintain Cleanliness of Scalehouse and Scale

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
· Use of telephone, computers, and various other office equipment is essential

· Entering appropriate data into a computer (material, weight, customer name, etc.)
· Assists with ensuring safe and efficient operation of the scales.
· Communicate with drivers, to determine the type of material being dumped, etc.
· Process cash, debit, visa payments from customers, as needed
