JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a compassionate, organised, and creative Scan Assistant to join our friendly clinic team. This is a varied role where you will support families during their scan experience, assist the sonographer, and ensure the clinic runs smoothly day to day.
In addition to customer care and operational duties, you will also play a part in creating engaging social media content to showcase our services and celebrate our customers’ special moments (with their consent).

REQUIREMENTS

  • Compassionate, approachable and professional with excellent communication skills.
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Able to handle sensitive situations with empathy and discretion.
  • A strong team player who can also take the lead when required.
  • Previous customer service experience is essential; healthcare or clinic experience is an advantage.
  • Flexible and reliable, with a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
  • Confident using technology and comfortable creating social media content.
  • Previous office or clerical experience is and advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome and support customers and their families throughout their visit.
  • Assist the sonographer during scans, ensuring a smooth and reassuring experience.
  • Save and print scan images on company systems and media devices.
  • Manage payments, bookings and customer flow in the clinic.
  • Handle sensitive situations with compassion and professionalism.
  • Identify upsell opportunities (e.g. upgrades, merchandise) in a friendly, customer-focused way.
  • Support daily clinic operations, including opening/closing, cleaning, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Create and share engaging social media content in line with brand guidelines.
  • Ensure data protection, confidentiality and safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.
