Description:
Your role at St John of God Ballarat Hospital
To provide accurate and timely scanning of health record documents and maintenance of the Scanned Health Record System (SHRS).
The Position
- Accurate and timely scanning of health record documents in the Scanned Health Record System (SHRS).
- Prepare health records for scanning.
- Upload electronic documents into the SHRS.
- Perform quality activities on scanned documents.
- Correct identified anomalies in the SHRS.
- Perform HIS clerical duties as directed.
- Participate in the ongoing development and training programs.
- Oversee information and medicolegal requests, maintain close contact with all wards and work closely with doctors’ offices.
- All other reasonable duties as directed by the Manager Health Information Services.
You will have to demonstrate commitment to customer service and ability to work in a team environment.
To succeed you will have the ability to work a range of shifts, including additional shifts as required. Previous HIS clerical experience is preferable.

- Salary: $56,585 to $58,212 per annum (pro data), plus 11.5% superannuation
