REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once while ensuring all tasks are completed on time;
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and experience working with colleagues from diverse backgrounds;
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams;
  • Ability to work a regular schedule of 10-20 hours per week, mostly between business hours of 10:00am to 6:00pm; and
  • Must have reliable personal transportation and be able to work in-person on GMU’s Fairfax campus, but some work may be be done remotely.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior experience working in film or digital production;
  • Prior experience and/or strong interest in performing arts, arts management, event management, or a related field; and
  • Familiarity with scheduling databases and digital collaboration tools such as 25Live and Smartsheet.
Responsibilities

Duties within Scheduling and Events will include:

  • Gathering post-event recap data;
  • Drafting event estimates & invoices; and
  • Maintaining client records.

Duties within Digital Programming will include:

  • Scheduling and attending department & production meetings;
  • Drafting & distributing production briefs and calendars; and
  • Assisting with budget tracking and asset management.

Some administrative needs vary throughout the year so other related duties may be assigned as needed.
