Description Schedule: Monday-Friday from 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Summary: The Scheduler/CMA is responsible for coordinating staff schedules and consumer transportation to ensure adequate 24/7 coverage and continuity of care. This role also performs duties within the scope of a Certified Medication Aide, including medication administration, monitoring consumer safety, and supporting daily program operations. This position requires strong organizational, communication, and computer skills to effectively manage scheduling, transportation logistics, and documentation. Responsibilities: Scheduling & Staffing Coordination: Maintain staff schedules to ensure 24-hour, 7-day coverage at all times Coordinate and adjust staffing based on call-ins, PTO, and program needs Communicate schedule changes clearly and timely to staff and leadership Monitor staffing patterns and proactively identify coverage gaps Transportation Coordination: Schedule and coordinate consumer transports for appointments, meetings, and activities Communicate transportation schedules with staff and treatment team May transport consumers using agency vehicles as needed Follow all agency policies and applicable federal and state laws regarding transportation CMA Duties: Monitor, observe, and ensure the safety and well-being of consumers Dispense medications as ordered by a physician within scope of certification Maintain accurate documentation, including shift logs and reports Support consumers in meeting treatment goals through guidance and encouragement Facilitate groups and structured activities as assigned Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment Communicate effectively with clinical staff, supervisors, and treatment team Assist with intake, discharge, and orientation of new consumers Conduct safety checks, room checks, and required monitoring procedures Assist with crisis intervention and follow all safety and emergency procedures Transport consumers as needed in accordance with agency policy Additional Responsibilities: Maintain confidentiality in accordance with agency policy and all applicable laws Adhere to all Palmer policies, procedures, and standards Participate in required trainings and continuing education Maintain professionalism, appropriate boundaries, and adherence to dress code Perform other duties as assignedor without notice. Requirements Requirements: High school diploma or GED Current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in Oklahoma Ability to function as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team Current Oklahoma driver’s license and acceptable driving record per Motor Vehicle Records Current Oklahoma Department of Health Food Handler’s Permit Current Adult and Pediatric CPR/First Aid certification Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills Ability to work a flexible schedule and assist with shift coverage, including working open shifts as needed to maintain 24/7 staffing Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Previous experience working in a residential treatment setting preferred Palmer Continuum of Care, Inc. is a tobacco-free environment.
