We are currently hiring for a Scheduler to join our ever-growing team of professionals who share our main focus of GREAT PATIENT CARE! Responsibilities include (and may vary): *Answer all phone calls in a pleasant and professional manner *Ability to effectively triage calls from patients to ensure appropriate scheduling *Listen and ask questions to accurately determine the patient's objective for the call *Take messages from patients and transfer calls, as needed *Add detailed messages into EMR messaging templates and forward appropriately for follow up *Accurately add patient/appointment information to NextGen computer system *Reschedule clinic, cancellation, and "no show" appointments for assigned providers *Recall - phone calls to patients who are overdue for an appointment *Monitor email messages *Schedule appointments from Patient Portal or Online Requests *Maintain and update information in individual training/procedures manual provided *Other duties as assigned Hours: 8:00a - 5:00p M-F. *remote hybrid option after 1 year of employment* Requirements *High School diploma or equivalent *Preferably previous scheduling experience or training *Preferably previous insurance experience or training *Good communication and organizational skills *Good patient rapport *Good listening skills *Outstanding customer service skills *Possess basic computer skills and efficiently use the computer *Maintain patient confidentiality at all times *Adhere to HIPAA regulations *High degree of reliability, dependability, and accuracy We understand the importance of work-life balance and want our team members to thrive personally and professionally.
