This is a Monday through Friday 1st shift role. About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Scheduler to create, manage, and optimize the plant’s production schedule. In this role, you will ensure customer expectations are met while balancing production, maintenance, engineering, and development needs. You’ll also oversee WIP and finished goods inventory programs using data-driven tools and champion continuous improvement initiatives.  Key Responsibilities * Develop and manage the daily/weekly production schedule. * Lead daily schedule status meetings with production supervisors. * Schedule, release, and lock production jobs. * Monitor changes to customer requirements and communicate impacts. * Support new product introductions and integrate them into the production schedule. * Communicate capacity constraints and business updates to appropriate teams. * Lead supply response in monthly S&OP activities. * Monitor and act on organizational change requests. * Support finished goods inventory programs. * Participate in company meetings and maintain professional business relationships. * Adhere to company policies, procedures, and Quality Management System requirements. * Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Education & Experience * Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience required. * 1–3 years of manufacturing scheduling experience required. * APICS certification preferred. * Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement is a plus. Skills * Strong interpersonal and communication skills; collaborative team player. * Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. * Analytical, detail-oriented, and strong problem-solving abilities. * Ability to interpret and use statistical tools and data. * Physical Requirements * Occasionally lift up to 25 lbs; rarely up to 50 lbs. * Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move materials throughout an 8–10 hour shift. * Regular, predictable attendance is essential. * Salaried (exempt) roles typically require an average of 45+ hours per week.
