Job Description We are recruiting a Scheduler to join our team in East Kilbride. Role Purpose Working in close collaboration with the Technical Co-ordinator, the Scheduler is responsible for the scheduling and dispatching of our Service Technicians, ensuring not only the timely delivery of both our agreement-based and service-based services, but also with maximum efficiency and productivity within a geographic area. This is a highly customer orientated role with specific attention to deliver an unrivalled customer experience and as such customer communication is the single most important aspect of this role. As part of the role, the person will also coordinate, where necessary, subcontracted services, consumables and equipment rentals. Tasks & Responsibilities: Prepare, plan and schedule service requests (SR) and work packages (WP) and assign to field operatives ensuring forward & on-time planning of agreement based and service based work. From SR completed to approval stage, complete the approval process including customer reporting quality and progress to approved status. Responsible for ensuring work is delivered within the planned hours for both agreement based services & planned based services, then reviewing the planned vs actual labour and material/equipment costs prior to SR approval, escalating poor performing SRs accordingly for management review. Managing Technician productivity, hours management and utilisation using the Siebel Planning Board. As required, create Purchase Order Requests in Siebel & verify that Siebel PO request is submitted to SAP without errors. Proactive participation within the regular WIP meetings and implementation of actions. Co-ordinating of sub-contracted services & equipment, including rentals. Proactively monitor the delivery of material, sub-contracted services and equipment, including rentals, and update internal stakeholders as needed & complete goods receipt. Qualifications Key Skills Previous experience in planning or scheduling-related role is essential Highly customer oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining strong relationships both with customers and colleagues. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Strong geographical knowledge Understanding of Profit & Loss Ability to prioritise and multi-task, whilst maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving abilities.
