Job Summary The Scheduler is responsible for scheduling patient appointments in appropriate clinic(s) and to ensure thorough and complete information is obtained to facilitate the registration process. Routinely interacts with various internal departments including registration, clinic staff, and financial coordinators. Pay Range Minimum $19.93 Midpoint $26.42 Maximum $32.88 Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements. Experience • Required: Minimum six (6) months of front office experience. • Preferred: One (1) year of experience as a Medical Office Assistant using scheduling software. Education • Required: High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent. • Preferred: Some post High School education, to include Medical Office courses. Training • Required: None required. Specialized Skills • Required: Strong skills in using Microsoft office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point). Ability to handle interruptions in work-tasks due to greeting people and answering a small multi-phone line. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal relationship and collaboration skills. Strong organization skills; excellent critical thinking, judgment, and problem-solving skills. • Preferred: Strong knowledge of scheduling software products.
