The Scheduler & Planner will be part of a team developing energy solutions for large business and institutional customers including electric vehicle charging, battery storage, solar PV and power generation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project planning, programming, cost control
  • Knowledge in analyzing schedule in claims
  • Self-initiated and intellectually curious, with a strong interest in electrification
  • Technical knowledge of EV charging, battery storage and other electrical equipment
  • Direct experience managing electrical projects involving, solar, batteries, generation, distribution or EV’s an asset
  • Enjoys interacting and collaborating with clients, vendors, and diverse teams

Responsibilities
  • Provide planning and control support to develop plans and schedules
  • Monitor, analyze, and report cost/schedule performance, and identify options to resolve planning and control problems
  • Update, monitor and analyze specified areas of cost and schedule performance
  • Create, monitor and analyze multiple schedules within a project to manage subcontractors
  • Assist multiple project managers in their projects in order to maintain the work schedule with the client and subcontractors
  • Identify significant risks to achieving planned results
  • Identify performance variances regarding actual versus planned results and recommend corrective actions to better align planned and actual results.
  • Produce required reports and related information
  • Contribute to project review meetings, as necessary, to monitor progress, identify problems, and initiate corrective actions
  • Participate in project/program planning, establishing priorities and resource requirements, developing budgets, implementation of plans, reporting, etc.
  • Contribute to specified elements of the business planning and budgeting process
  • Participate in developing procedures, instructions, guidelines that facilitate the two-way flow of cost and schedule information
