Primary Responsibilities: * Serves as main resource to physician for surgery scheduling * Answer phone calls, emails, confirming appointments, greeting patients and prospective patients in all interaction. * Schedule patient for procedure  * Liaise and coordinate with healthcare professionals about schedules, patients and any changes to schedules * Resolve scheduling conflicts as they occur. * Responsible for Answering scheduling main line and transferring, taking messages and helping patients accordingly and resolve scheduling conflicts as they occur. * Ensure all incoming orders have demographics, insurance, authorization information and all other pertinent information and communicate with referring provider office for needed or missing information. * Verify insurance eligibility for both medial insurance for upcoming appointments by utilizing online websites or by contacting the carriers directly.  * Maintains patient demographic information and data collection systems. * Review patient deductibles and/or copays and enter the billing system and spreadsheets provided to the front-end department at all locations.   Requirements: * High School Diploma or GED * Previous scheduling and medical office experience preferred * Basic word processing, order entry, spreadsheets * Must meet all Employee Health requirements Three Crosses Regional Hospital is an Equal Opportunity Employer - We are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and applicants and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, national origin, disability, veteran status, genetic information, or any other protected status under applicable law.
