The Opportunity As a Scheduler, you will: · Communicate with our customers via phone, email, and text to coordinate their delivery needs and plan our daily manufacturing schedule. · Daily customer and department communication Work directly with the builder or homeowner to help them meet their delivery needs Manage the computerized and paper production scheduling system Interact with the operations manager and the purchasing, sales, and production teams to communicate and update production schedule and deliveries Requirements Qualifications and Required Skills · Professionalism when dealing with coworkers and customers · High school degree or GED required · 1 year scheduling experience in a production environment preferred · Must possess strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills · Detail oriented, solid organizational skills and able to multi-task · General computer skills and knowledge of office equipment (10-key, copier, phones, etc.) Work Environment Office environment with some exposure to the shop (manufacturing) floor on a daily basis What You Can Expect · Starting pay from $22 to $25 per hour · A stable, 35-year-old family business with strong values · Clear opportunities for career growth and advancement · A culture grounded in integrity and continuous improvement · The chance to be part of a fantastic team that takes pride in excellent work A Proven Path Forward At Western Pacific, many employees who start in this role go on to build successful careers in operations, sales, and leadership.
