Description

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A DETAIL-ORIENTED AND HIGHLY ORGANISED SCHEDULING COORDINATOR TO JOIN OUR TEAM FOR A 6-MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and highly organised Scheduling Coordinator to join our team for a 6-month fixed term contract. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating and coordinating rosters specifically for our veterinary teams across Underwood and Jindalee, ensuring optimal coverage and smooth day-to-day operations.
You’ll work closely with hospital leadership from both sites to manage planned leave, shift swaps, and unplanned absences, while making sure rosters align with both our wage budgets, the Award and our own policies. Your ability to juggle competing priorities, communicate effectively, and keep everything running like clockwork will make you an essential part of the team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Developing and managing monthly vet rosters
  • Coordinating changes to rosters, including leave and shift swaps
  • Partnering with the Business Development Manager on budget compliance
  • Liaising with stakeholders to ensure coverage for all shifts
  • Providing reporting and insights on roster efficiency and opportunities

What we’re looking for:

  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Experience in scheduling, rostering, or workforce planning
  • Familiarity with the Veterinary Services Award (advantageous)

Role details:

  • Contract: 6 months fixed term
  • Hours: Minimum 20 hours per fortnight
  • Pay: $32–$35 per hour (based on experience)
  • Location: Fully remote! Ability to come on site on occasion would be beneficial.

If you’re a proactive problem-solver who thrives on keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, we’d love to hear from you.
