We are seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to join our team in Des Moines, Iowa and play a key role in ensuring customer orders are processed efficiently, materials are available when needed, and fabrication projects are completed on time. What You'll Do As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing production schedules and coordinating jobs from order entry through completion. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: * Reviewing job packets and preparing work orders for fabrication branches * Creating, releasing, and scheduling jobs for production * Monitoring material availability and job status * Adjusting schedules based on priorities and inventory levels * Communicating job updates to sales representatives and internal teams * Coordinating expedited shipments when required * Updating order information, purchase order notes, and expediting records * Tracking production progress and receiving updates from fabricators * Making inventory adjustments and maintaining accurate system records * Processing invoicing, receivables, and some purchasing activities * Closing work-in-process (WIP) orders upon material receipt * Providing administrative support including answering phones and maintaining files What We're Looking For Required Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent * Minimum of 2 years of experience in scheduling, production coordination, manufacturing, operations, or a related field * Strong understanding of job planning and scheduling processes * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) * Strong data entry and keyboarding skills * Solid math and problem-solving abilities * Excellent communication and organizational skills * Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines  Preferred Qualifications * Some college coursework or degree * Experience working in a manufacturing, fabrication, distribution, or industrial environment Why You'll Love This Opportunity * Stable, full-time position * Collaborative and supportive team environment * Opportunity to make a direct impact on customer satisfaction and operational success * Professional growth and development opportunities * Variety in your daily responsibilities * Work with multiple departments and build valuable operational experience  Work Environment * Office-based position with occasional exposure to warehouse environment * Standard business hours * No unusual physical demands If you're a proactive problem-solver who enjoys coordinating schedules, managing details, and helping teams succeed, apply today and become an essential part of our team!
