SURGERY SCHEDULING COORDINATOR Full Time Department: Surgery #7421 Position Summary: The Scheduling Coordinator performs a variety of clerical, scheduling, and reception duties under the direction of the Clinical Manager/Director. She/he requisitions supplies, equipment and services as directed. The Scheduling Coordinator coordinates and schedules inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures, ensuring all required documentation, physician orders, authorizations, pre-operative testing, clearances, and patient information are complete and accurate. This position serves as a liaison between surgeons, physician offices, patients, nursing staff, anesthesia providers, and ancillary departments to facilitate efficient surgical scheduling and workflow. The Scheduling Coordinator maintains accurate records, communicates schedule changes, and supports the delivery of safe, timely, and high-quality patient care through effective coordination of surgical services. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * High school diploma or equivalent. * Medical Terminology class or one (1) year experience in medical related field. Position Pay Range:   $18.63- $27.45/hour In compliance with the California Pay Transparency Act, El Centro Regional Medical Center (ECRMC) posts the pay range for all jobs.
