Description Ortonville Area Health Services is seeking a Registration Representative to serve as a key point of contact for our patients and visitors. This role plays a critical part in delivering exceptional customer service while coordinating patient registration, scheduling, and check-in processes across OAHS departments. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, professional, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment Key Responsibilities: Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a courteous, professional, and compassionate manner, both in person and over the phone Accurately obtain, verify, and update patient demographic, insurance, and guarantor information at every registration Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with all patient privacy and corporate compliance requirements Schedule appointments and coordinate walk-in patients for immediate or future services Verify insurance eligibility, obtain referrals when needed, and collect co-payments Hours and Pay: Full Time 40 hours per week with 1 Saturday (8am-12pm) every 8 weeks Full benefits package (medical, dental, vision, HSA with employer match) PERA retirement with employer match Paid Time off Education Assistance Program
