Description Purpose: In coordination with the Scheduling and Student Support Manager, assist in leading the scheduling team while helping maintain the schedules of students and instructors. Tasks: Helping ensure accurate tracking and upkeep of student records in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and standard operating procedures. Ensure correct weekly reports are conducted for schedulers. Send weekly reports to Minnesota State University - Mankato Act as the primary scheduler for chief flight instructors TSA student coordination throughout the process of application and maintaining clearances. Ensuring proper coordination with TSA and 49CFR1552 of proper student and employee documentation with yearly audits Student progression reports and facilitation of needs for students that fall behind in conjunction with DFSO. Scheduling and tracking of stage checks to be fully efficient with the time scheduling when it comes to student needs. Communication and follow up between student progression and the DFSO to ensure attention is being given to the needed areas. Scheduling and facilitation of lessons for accuracy and student progression. Effective communication with each department when problems arise. Primary contact for student needs in relationship to getting on the schedule. Accurate student documentation for attendance, progression, and documents needed to fly. Perform oversight and training to handlers regarding essential job functions. Requirements Preferred Skills Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and their use Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations Knowledge of weather in relationship to aircraft Knowledge of maintenance events Knowledge of standard operating procedures Education: · High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
