Create, issue, and maintain purchase orders to support production schedules and operational needs.
Communicate with suppliers regarding order status, shortages, delivery timelines, schedule changes, and quality concerns.
Monitor supplier performance, lead times, delivery commitments, and order fulfillment.
Maintain accurate supplier, pricing, purchasing, and ERP data.
Monitor inventory levels and support stock availability for production and customer requirements.
Analyze inventory trends and help identify opportunities to reduce excess, obsolete materials, and carrying costs.
Work with Manufacturing, Engineering, Customer Support, Warehouse, and supplier teams to resolve material availability or supply chain issues.
Support material planning, demand forecasting, production scheduling, and planning parameters such as lead times, safety stock, and reorder points.
Coordinate inbound and outbound domestic and international shipments.
Work with freight carriers, customs brokers, and logistics providers to support timely deliveries.
Generate and analyze supply chain reports and performance metrics, including supplier performance, inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, and inventory turns.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory optimization, process efficiency, cost reduction, and operational excellence.
