ROLE OVERVIEW

Arco Academy is seeking a strong, highly organised, and experienced School Administrator to support the school’s daily operations and uphold our commitment to educational excellence. This is a key role requiring a proactive and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a high-demand, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be an efficient problem solver, a quick learner, and able to work well under pressure.
As a School Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing school systems, supporting staff and students, and ensuring the smooth running of the school. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team where your contributions will make a real impact.
We are looking for a School Administrator to join our school and start as soon as possible.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the day-to-day administration of the school office, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Manage and maintain school records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with DfE regulations.
  • Provide administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), teachers, and other school staff.
  • Manage the school’s information management system (Bromcom), ensuring data is up to date and accurate.
  • Handle admissions, attendance records, and student files in line with safeguarding and GDPR guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, staff, students, and external stakeholders, fostering positive relationships.
  • Support the organisation of school events, trips, and extracurricular activities.
  • Assist in HR administration, including recruitment, staff absence monitoring, and maintaining personnel records.
  • Manage financial administration, including processing invoices, ordering supplies, and budget tracking.
  • Maintain a well-organised office environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming reception service.
