Description

Progress Teachers are working in partnership with a thriving mainstream secondary school in the Loughborough area to appoint a skilled Administrator to join their team as soon as possible. The successful candidate will play a key role in the school’s office, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of reception and supporting essential administrative functions across the school.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Access) and general IT systems.
  • Understanding of school CRM systems (SIMS & Go4Schools) is desirable.
  • Previous experience in a school or educational setting is highly desirable.
  • Up-to-date first aid training is desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to manage tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
    Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Temporary, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm
    Pay: £13.84-£15.38 per hour
    Expected hours: 30 per week

Responsibilities
  • Provide a welcoming and professional first point of contact for visitors, parents, and students.
  • Manage incoming calls and correspondence, directing queries efficiently to the right staff.
  • Maintain and update accurate student records using the school’s management systems.
  • Support communication across the school through various administrative systems.
  • Assist with the organisation and coordination of school events and activities.
  • Undertake general admin duties such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and office staff to support the school’s daily operations.
