Leila Daycare Center Inc.is looking for a CCA Early Childhood Educator 2 to work afternoons with our School Age children. The eligible candidate must have previous experience working with School Age children in a daycare and have outstanding Behavior Management skills with this age group.
Part time shift 230-530 during the school year with 8 hours during School Breaks. More hours as a sub if available.

Some of the job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Working on the floor with children aged 6-12 years old.
• Be able to run the School Age Program independantly.
• Provide programming for the children based on their interests and development.
• Follow all licensing, best practice and health/safety policies.
• Communication effectively with parents and other staff.
• Love going outside in all weather.

Following are the requirements of the position:

• Early Childhood Education Level II or CCA
• Daycare experience of Minimum 2 year is required
• Experience working with School Age children an MUST
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills
• Friendly and approachable demeanour
• Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and work ethic at all times

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.40-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
