We are currently looking for an enthusiastic candidate to fill the position at Lux Curiosity Club Afterschool group. NO QUALIFICATION IS REQUIRED, however, real love being with children and emotional intelligence is required.
Under the direction of the Quality Coordinator and Centre Deputy, the Afterschool Assistant is responsible for assisting in the creation of a learning environment that is safe, healthy, stimulating, and caring, with activities designed around children’s interests and developmental needs.
Working hours: Monday-Friday 3pm-6pm (during a school term September- June contract)

• Collecting children from the school
• Supervise, and provide support to children to complete their homework
• Establish and maintain positive communication using collaborative methods to problem solve and interact with families, children, and staff.
• Supervise, interact, and play with children during the assigned time.
• Provide general housekeeping tasks
• Participate regularly in staff meetings, in-service programs, and workshops
• Support and follow the direction of the team leader and managing director
