DUTIES OF THE ROLE:

• To assist in the day to day organisation and running of the Afterschool Care Programme, providing high standards of care and play opportunities for children between the ages of 4-12 years old in a safe and secure environment.
• Planning and implementing creative and exciting activities and play opportunities for the children.
• Supporting children in social, emotional, physical development. Conflict resolution / behaviour management.
• Working within the framework of the Club’s and school’s policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE:

• Minimum of 1 years’ experience in working with children
• First Aid Certificate an advantage
• Child Protection training an advantage
• QQI Level 6 in Early Childhood Care & Education / Montessori an advantage
  Hours: 16-20 hours between the hours of 1pm and 6:15 Monday to Friday
  Job Types: Part-time
  Salary.. €13.65-€14.50 per hour
