Summary: The School-Based Children and Family Clinical Therapist is responsible for providing diagnostic assessments, counseling, and supportive services for a diverse population in a school setting for a Mental Health Rehabilitative Core Service Agency. The therapist will maintain a caseload that includes children/adolescents ages 8-17, or a combination of both. They are deeply familiar with other services and resources within the community and work closely with them to provide information and support when required.  Average Caseload: 10-20 clients   Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:  Detail-Oriented, highly organized, flexible, strong oral and written  communication in English, strong interpersonal skills, technologically competent   Primary Job Responsibilities:  • Provide evidence-based psychotherapy for clients who present with various concerns such as substance   abuse, depression, anxiety, trauma and adjustment disorders  •  Support clients in a in-person school setting  • Coordinate with inter-agency program providers to deliver comprehensive care for clients  • Prepare discharge summaries  • Provide therapy for each client on caseload in an individual, family or group modality  • Make referrals and collaborate with referral sources regarding client progress  • Conduct clinical assessments and create person-centered treatment plans  • Maintain and submit all clinical documentation with clients within 48 hours of completing the service  • Provide emergency support as needed in accordance with the after-hours on-call schedule  • Attend all scheduled programmatic meetings (e.g., clinical supervision, staff meetings, etc.)  • All other clinical tasks as assigned    Job Specifications:  • Master’s Degree in a human services related field  • Licensed in the District of Columbia in one of the following licenses (LGPC, LGSW, LPC, LCSW,    LMFT, Psychologist, Psychiatrist, APRN and/or RN)  • Two years minimum of direct-care clinical services with individuals with mental health diagnoses   • Must be familiar or willing to be trained on EMR systems
