DEGREE IN PHYSICAL THERAPY, ACTIVE PHYSICAL THERAPIST LICENSE AND 1+ YEAR OF PHYSICAL THERAPY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. APPLICANTS WHO DO NOT MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

A licensed Physical Therapist is needed to provide specialized support to K-12 students impacted by Autism at an onsite school setting in Tucson, AZ. This part-time, contract position involves working one day per week throughout the 25/26 school year. The role requires collaborating directly with students and educational staff to develop and implement therapeutic plans that enhance physical function and promote student success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver physical therapy services tailored to students with Autism spectrum disorder
  • Assess and monitor student progress, adapting interventions as needed
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support individual education plans
  • Maintain detailed documentation and comply with school and state regulations

Qualifications:

  • Valid Arizona Physical Therapist license
  • IVP fingerprint clearance card
