MASTER’S DEGREE IN SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY, ACTIVE SLP LICENSE AND 1+ YEAR OF SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. APPLICANTS WHO DO NOT MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

Support young learners speech and language development in an elementary school setting serving grades K-2. This full-time, contract opportunity spans from ASAP through June and is based in Bloomfield, CT. The role focuses on delivering speech-language pathology services to early elementary students while providing supervision and guidance to a Clinical Fellow (CF) and a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting speech and language evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans for K2 students
  • Delivering evidence-based therapy interventions tailored to childrens needs
  • Supervising and mentoring a CF and SLPA to ensure best practices and professional growth
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students communication goals
  • Maintaining thorough and timely documentation in compliance with licensing and school district policies

Qualifications:

  • Valid Connecticut Speech-Language Pathologist license (CT SLP CCC required)
  • Experience working with early elementary children (K-2) within school environments
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and support Clinical Fellows and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants
  • Strong clinical skills in assessment and treatment of pediatric speech and language disorders
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
