MASTER’S DEGREE IN SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY, ACTIVE SLP LICENSE AND 1+ YEAR OF SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. APPLICANTS WHO DO NOT MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with certification in speech-language pathology (SLP - CCC) and experience or credentialing in school settings (SLP - School). This contract position is based in Newnan, GA, and is set within an elementary school environment for the current school year (CSY).

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services to elementary-aged students.
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and inclusion.
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation complying with school policies and professional standards.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) development.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP - CCC).
  • Appropriate state licensure or eligibility to practice in school settings.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children within a school environment.
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
  • Ability to manage caseload and prioritize responsibilities in a dynamic educational setting.
