A full-time Social Worker position is available for a leave of absence assignment from August 18th through October 11th. This role serves a K-8 caseload within a school setting, focusing on providing comprehensive support to students from PreK through 8th grade.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student well-being.
• Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed.
• Connect students and families with community resources and services.
• Maintain accurate case documentation and reports.

Qualifications:

• Valid Social Worker license or certification required.
• Experience working with children in PreK-8 education settings preferred.
• Strong knowledge of social work principles as related to schools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment.

Location:

• Position located in Palatine, IL, serving a K-12 school with a focus on PreK-8 students.
