A K-12 school in Trumbull, CT, is seeking a qualified social worker to provide support during a leave of absence. This contract position offers the opportunity to work directly with students, families, and staff to address social, emotional, and behavioral needs within the school community.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting assessments and providing counseling services to students
• Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to develop support plans
• Connecting students and families to community resources and services
• Addressing crisis situations and providing intervention as needed
• Maintaining accurate and confidential records in compliance with school policies

Qualifications:

• Licensed or credentialed social worker with experience in school settings
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent development and mental health issues
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in school social work

Location: Trumbull, Connecticut
Duration: Leave coverage, contract position
