Description MTS is seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, school-based contract position in Spartanburg, SC for the 2026–2027 school year. This role supports a specialized, multi-district educational program serving students with significant support needs. This is a unique opportunity to work in a highly collaborative and supportive environment with students who have complex communication needs and benefit from individualized, multimodal communication approaches, including AAC. Student Population Includes: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Intellectual Disabilities Cerebral Palsy Rett Syndrome Other significant developmental and medical diagnoses Why This Position Stands Out: Collaborative team of experienced SLPs Access to a multidisciplinary team including OTs, PTs, TVIs, and BCBAs SLPs are not case managers, allowing you to focus on therapy 3:1 service delivery model to support workload balance No travel required No additional school duties (no bus, lunch, or recess duty) Supportive environment for developing AAC skills (experience preferred but not required) Ideal Candidate: Holds a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Has South Carolina SLP licensure Passionate about working with students with complex communication needs Open to learning and growing in AAC and multidisciplinary collaboration About MTS: MTS partners with schools to provide high-quality therapy services while supporting clinicians with strong communication, resources, and career development opportunities.
