BACHELOR’S DEGREE FROM AN ASHA-ACCREDITED UNIVERSITY, ACTIVE SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY ASSISTANT (SLPA) LICENSE AND MINIMUM 1+ YEARS SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. APPLICANTS WHO DO NOT MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

A School-based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available to support K-12 students with communication and speech development. This contract role is located in Puyallup, WA, and involves approximately 22.5 hours per week during the current school year.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Washington State certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant is required
• Active fingerprints clearance with the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI)
• Prior experience working in a school setting is preferred
• Ability to work on-site

• Assist speech-language pathologists in delivering therapy services to K-12 students
• Implement individualized treatment plans and document student progress
• Collaborate with educators and staff to support student communication needs
• Maintain compliance with school district policies and procedures regarding student services
