UCP of Central Florida provides pediatric therapy at two settings charter schools and medical/out-patient. Charter Schools are a network of 8 PreK-12th grade schools for students with and without disabilities in Central Florida. Therapy is provided as part of a multi-discipline team. Job Summary: The School-Based Therapy Supervisor is a full-time, school year position that leads/supervises a team of school-based providers ensuring all students get their IEP services (OT, PT, S&L). The School Based Therapy Supervisor is also the SLP caseload manager for students on the S&L caseload and will clinically supervise up to 2 SLPAs. Job Responsibilities: Oversee school-based therapy service delivery for students at assigned campus. Assist in hiring and on-boarding and serves as the direct supervisor of school-based therapy personnel at assigned campus. Ensure productivity of school-based therapy team by ensuring all students receive OT, PT, and S&L services as prescribed by IEP. Provide clinical supervision for up to 2 SLPAs. Provide direct diagnostic and therapeutic services to students. Ensure therapy team reports accountability data according to agency guidelines. Ensure compliance of UCP Confidentiality and FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) guidelines for all students’ files and information in therapist caseload Participate in student staffing, IEP team meetings, classroom team meetings, campus wide meetings and other meetings as assigned. Develop care plans, goals, and treatment strategies according to the student’s needs and individualized educational plan (IEP)guidelines; maintains accurate documentation. Perform other duties as assigned. Prefer some supervisory experience. Flexible Experience successfully managing a school -based caseload/ensuring students receive appropriate treatments and achieving targeted productivity goals. Demonstrated effectiveness in interpersonal relationships and communications.
