A professional opportunity is available for a dedicated Behavior Specialist focused on supporting kindergarten students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in a K-12 school environment. Responsibilities include:

• Delivering individualized and small-group interventions tailored to kindergarten students with IEPs.
• Implementing targeted strategies to support behavioral and communication development.
• Encouraging and fostering independent daily living skills among students.
• Collaborating closely with special education teachers, related service providers, and general education staff to ensure a cohesive support approach.
• Reinforcing instructional strategies as directed by supervising educators.
• Tracking and documenting student progress accurately and consistently.

Desired qualifications:

• Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, with a requirement of school-based experience.
• Knowledge of strategies to support students with diverse behavioral and learning needs.
• Strong communication skills coupled with patience and a collaborative mindset.
• A minimum of a high school diploma; associates or bachelors degree in education or a related field is preferred.
