MUST HAVE COMPLETED BEHAVIOR SPECIALIST / ABA THERAPY TRAINING AND HAVE A MINIMUM 1+ YEARS BEHAVIOR THERAPY EXPERIENCE. APPLICANTS WHO DO NOT MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

Located in Palo Alto, CA, this contract opportunity seeks a skilled Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide targeted ABA therapy in a K-12 educational setting. The position is available ASAP through June 5, 2026, offering 32.5 hours per week on a consistent schedule designed to support students requiring individualized behavioral interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy focused on students with emotional disturbance and trauma backgrounds
  • Implement behavior intervention plans under appropriate clinical supervision (note: no district supervision provided)
  • Maintain detailed data collection and progress notes to track student improvement
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure therapeutic goals align with educational objectives

Work Schedule:

  • Monday: 8:30am 2:30pm
  • Tuesday: 8:30am 3:15pm
  • Wednesday: 8:30am 2:30pm
  • Thursday: 8:30am 3:15pm
  • Friday: 8:30am 1:45pm
  • Includes a 30-minute lunch break daily

Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
  • Experience working with children or adolescents with emotional disturbance and trauma
  • Ability to work independently without district supervision, including having or not requiring RBT supervisor oversight
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with staff and families
