Description

Since 1984, Share Our Strength® has led the fight against hunger and poverty by inspiring and organizing individuals and businesses to share their strengths. Today, through the No Kid Hungry campaign, Share Our Strength is ending childhood hunger in America by ensuring all children get the healthy food they need. No child should go hungry in America – we’re on our way to making that a reality and we want you to join us. We’re bold, creative, always open to new ideas, and 100% dedicated to our mission. If that sounds like you, we’d like you to consider becoming part of our team.

Additionally, they will provide technical assistance and support to colleagues, school and school nutrition staff, partners, and state agency staff.
This position requires a high-performing individual capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, collaborative organization. • Excellent facilitation, listening, and communication skills (verbal and written), including experience presenting to high-level audiences and the ability to communicate complex or technical information in an easy-to-understand way.
  • Eagerness to collaborate and demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively in a fluid environment, lead projects (short- and long-term), meet multiple concurrent deadlines, and organize time and priorities.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships across stakeholder groups, including non-profit organizations, government agencies, and schools/districts.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills, including the ability to identify and work through challenges, underscored by strong judgment and emotional intelligence.
  • Demonstrated passion for our mission and interest in helping us advance equity and inclusion within and beyond the organization.
