ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently seeking reliable and safety-conscious School Bus Drivers to join our transportation team in Winnipeg. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely transportation of students to and from school, as well as for field trips and extracurricular activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely operate a school bus along assigned routes in accordance with all Manitoba traffic laws and school transportation regulations.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the bus is in safe working condition.
• Maintain student safety and appropriate conduct on the bus, following established policies and procedures.
• Report any mechanical issues, delays, incidents, or student behavior concerns to the Transportation Supervisor.
• Keep the bus clean and ensure all required safety equipment (emergency exits, first aid kit, fire extinguisher) is functional.
• Assist students with special needs or mobility challenges when required.
• Complete all required documentation such as mileage logs, incident reports, and fuel reports.
• Participate in mandatory training sessions and professional development programs.
