As a school bus driver at North American Central School Bus, you are not only an essential worker, but also a HERO to children every day! We are looking for candidates who are responsible, love children, and are very reliable. We are proud to offer: Starting pay @ $22.20 p/h up to $24.11 p/h depending on experience* Weekly pay checks* Paid CDL training! Child ride-along (available at certain locations) * Guaranteed 4 hrs a day-with Summer and Extra work options available* Paid Holidays!* Referral, Safety, Attendance and Retention Bonus’ available (varies by location) * Major Responsibilities: Drives a regular route, is a regular, spare or charter driver. Must read and understand street signs, route sheets and maps. Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus, including child checks. Transport students safely and greet the students with a positive attitude and smile. Cooperates and communicates with school personnel, parents, and students. Attendance at all safety and training meetings. Good verbal communication skills. Minimum Education & Certifications Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Must be 21 years of age. Must possess valid driver’s license for 3 years or longer. All driver applicants must pass a background check, DOT physical and drug test.
